Study Abroad Fair 2023
The Global Office is delighted to announce that the Study Abroad Fair will be running on campus again this year! The Study Abroad Fair is one of our biggest events of the year and is always popular with students considering study abroad.
This year the Fair will be run in a slightly different format. Due to the current closure of the Union spaces, we have decided to split the event over two days. On Wednesday the 11th of October at 2:30pm, the general information session will be held in Buchanan Lecture Theatre. Students will hear about the different study abroad opportunities as well as detailed information on how to apply/. As the application for Study Abroad closes on the 1st of November, this presentation is not to be missed!
On the following day, Thursday the 12th of October, the Fair will run from 2-4pm in Parliament Hall. This event gives students the opportunity to ask questions and chat with students who have studied and worked abroad previously. It is a great opportunity to ask the more informal questions about studying abroad as well as to learn what it is really like to live in a different country. There will be stalls for each of our St Andrews Abroad destinations run by student representatives. Our student Global Ambassadors and our Global Office Intern will also be on hand to give advice. On top of that, there will be a dedicated space for students to ask questions related to finance and scholarships.
