We would like to provide you with a reminder of the Moodle resources for students undertaking an external placement for credit in the academic year 2021-2022.
Moodle Resources
This year’s Pre-Departure Briefing was held on 21 April. Additional resources and a short test have now been made available on Moodle in the module called ‘Study Abroad Pre-Departure Resources 2021’. There is also a short test which you must complete by 31 May as part of the Pre-Departure process to confirm that you have read all of the relevant materials.
Attending the briefing (or watching it on Moodle) and completion of the pre-departure test for your programme (study or work) on Moodle is compulsory for all students undertaking study abroad or work placements for credit next academic year. Please ensure that you have read the resources relevant to your placement and completed the test by 31 May. If this deadline is not feasible, please let us know by Friday 14 May. If you do not engage with the resources and do not notify us in advance, you may have your permission to participate in your external programme withdrawn by the University.
If are participating in a deferred programme from the academic year 2021-22, please ensure that you read the information provided in Moodle and complete the short test for your programme.
Pre-Departure Agreement
Please ensure that you complete the Pre-Departure Agreement task in MySaint by 31 May. Further information about how to use the online documentation system can be found on our documentation webpages.
